Every person has a role to play, some are heavier than others. The gluttony of ruling can often leave one hungering for more power, not content till all is consumed. Though all is not as it seems. Advisers tell things out of their own minds and their true hearts are not revealed till dire circumstances force them into the open. Others are mere pawns to move by trading people into slavery for extortion later. The imported monkey and lap reptile amuse the Kazus, but take what they can while he doesn't notice, almost behaving in their master's stead.
